Associate Professor Dr. Mutlu Keskin received his dental education at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry (Çapa), after which he served in the Department of Periodontology at the same university, earning the titles of doctor and specialist in periodontology. During his PhD/Specialization training, he won a Finnish government scholarship for his project titled “The Effect of Inflammation on Periodontal Bacterial Plaque” and continued part of his doctoral education at the University of Turku. As a result of his work, he was entitled to the title of Assistant Professor in 2015 and Associate Professor in 2023. He focuses on inflammatory gum diseases, gum recession, gum aesthetics, implant treatment, and aesthetic dentistry, and follows congresses, symposiums, and scientific activities in these fields. He works as a specialist in gum diseases and surgery in various clinics, while also continuing his academic studies.
